Denali luxury now with crew cab room. introductionthe gmc sierra is nearly identical to the chevy silverado but features more mature, restrained styling. With their 5-foot, 8-inch cargo box, sierra crew cabs are no longer than standard-bed, extended-cab models for easier parking and maneuverability. The 1500hd crew cab, which returns for 2005 after a one-year hiatus, can tow up to 10,200 pounds. Even the plush denali tows 8,100 pounds.  yet all sierras deliver a smooth, comfortable ride among the full-size pickups. Even compared to more recently introduced or re-engineered pickups from ford, dodge, and nissan, the sierra rides and handles very well. Although nominally classified as light duty or 'half-ton' trucks, the 1500s offer payloads ranging from 1,215 to 2,040 pounds, and tow ratings from 4,100 up to 9,000 pounds, depending on equipment. That's all the truck most consumers will ever need.  engine choices include a 4. 3-liter v6, 4. 8-liter v8, and 5. 3-liter v8. The r/t package 3,820) seems pricey at first glance, but it comes with the 150-horsepower high-output magnum version of the 2. 0-liter engine, a sport suspension, p195/50r16 goodyear rs-a tires, 16-inch aluminum wheels, 16:1 firm-feel steering, performance-tuned exhaust with bright dual tips, unique front and rear fascia, rear wing, front fog lamps, black headlamp bezels, color-keyed instrument cluster bezel, unique cloth seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. It passes on convenience features such as power windows as being heavy and complex. It carries many of the styling cues of the 1994-1999 models, but has been thoroughly modernized. The ovoid headlamps, for example, look familiar, but now feature jewel-like reflectors that add sophistication. The design of the front fascia is more integrated. A new tail lamp design along with more pronounced wheel arches offer a crisp, less rounded look.  more significant is the change in the neon's side profile. The base of the front windshield has been moved forward 3 inches. This major design change gives the car a more raked, cab-forward appearance that's in keeping with the dodge intrepid and other chrysler sedans. Normal dings in body. Tires are good (5k on them). The car odometer says 117k. But that's what it said when i replaced the engine (about 5k ago). This is not a show truck but a very nice entry level or first truck for a new hobbiest the paint is base coat clear côat and is two months old. The cab has no rust and no patch panels . The wood in the bed is new and the front and rear bumpers are new. Motor runs strong and the transmision shifts well i was told the motor was recently gone through but i have no paper work to back that up. The brakes are done front and rear with turned drums .
